ZUN Foundation derives its name from the Persian word "Zun" or "Zan," meaning "women." We are a registered Trust in Bangalore, Karnataka and work to place priority on the welfare of women, recognizing their role as pillars within families and society.
Established in 2006 PharmaLeaf India Private Limited , a global regulatory consultancy began the CSR endeavour - ZUN Foundation. .
Drawing upon the data and information at PharmaLeaf and its access to a panel of consulting doctors and extensive medical research, we focus on providing medical aid through subsidised treatment, referral consultations, and access to information via health and wellness camps. Concurrently, our work in education aims to create opportunities and remove barriers by providing funding and academic counselling, inspiring students and individuals to complete their education and confidently contribute to society. Lastly, we emphasise on family welfare, supporting families and entrepreneurs in building businesses and fostering a society that strengthens itself from within.
ZUN Foundation was established by four founding Trustees, each bringing their unique expertise and passion to the organisation. Nafiseh Khaleeli dedicated her life to Anjuman-e-Sogra, an organisation empowering women. Shenaz Khaleeli, through her professional career, is committed to creating awareness and facilitating access to advanced medical and therapeutic innovations. Aathika Ifthikhar, a Chartered Accountant, contributes her financial consulting skills and engages in family welfare initiatives.Mohammed Zaki Khaleeli, through his generational movement of MRK Foundation, focuses on providing academic support and guidance to foster growth. Together, they charted the course of ZUN Foundation's work in the three core areas of Health, Education, and Family Welfare.
With the support of a cross-denominational Board of Trustees, and devoted donors and volunteers, our work fosters a community that extends assistance to individuals in vital areas of healthcare and knowledge. These areas function interdependently, with education ensuring independence, healthcare ensuring accessibility, and family welfare supporting holistic development.
