ZUN is an NGO led by a diverse team of trustees dedicated to fostering an inclusive support system. Our focus is to build a platform that empowers women and through them, we aim to strengthen families and our society. We prioritise education, health, and family welfare as key areas for development. ZUN operates with transparency and accountability, ensuring that all our stakeholders are involved in our endeavours.

Zun is headquartered in Bangalore and predominantly works within the state of Karnataka.

Our organisation is dedicated to addressing crucial aspects of well-being, particularly in the areas of health, education, and welfare. Throughout our years of service, we have consistently prioritised providing support to women and single mothers facing challenging circumstances, with a focus on those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Each year, our patrons receive an Impact Report that provides a comprehensive overview of the expenses incurred and how they were utilised, along with the estimated budget for the upcoming year. The generous donations from our patrons are directed towards the cause of their choice, whether it is a general contribution or specifically designated for one of our areas - healthcare, education, or family welfare.


EDUCATION



To apply for educational support (subsidy) - please navigate to the ‘Get Involved’ section at the top of our website and proceed to select the ‘Education Support Form’ and fill in the candidate details.

On receipt of the application, the time taken for processing could be 2-3 weeks (given all information and attested documentation has been submitted with the application.) The candidate will receive further communication and instructions via the submitted phone number and email.

To ensure a positive response the following criteria need to be met: A completed application form with information for all mandatory fields filled in. Submit all documents and government identification. Additional consideration would be given to applicants with first-class grades. This is done to ensure that deserving individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, are given the opportunity to further their educational pursuits.

The candidate must reapply annually and must present a consistent grade average to receive repeated funding. If there is a drop in the candidate’s performance their application may be reconsidered before funding is provided.

Copy of present marks card, Attested current fee structure on institution stationery, duly signed with an official seal, Bank details of the educational institute (to facilitate payment when sanctioned), Copy of Aadhar Card of parent/applicant, A letter of reference may be requested .

An application may not be accepted if the candidate is unable to provide all required documents and does not display a consistent grade average for the year of application. Additionally, the application would be moved to the second list if the candidate is receiving support from multiple channels.

Under extreme circumstances, post-due diligence small loans may be considered on a deferred repayment basis.


HEALTHCARE



To apply for medical support - please navigate to the ‘Get Involved’ menu at the top of our website and proceed to select the ‘Healthcare Support Form’ and fill in the candidate details.

On receipt of the application, the time taken for processing the same could be 2-5 days (given all information and attested documentation have been submitted with the application.) The candidate will receive further communication and instructions via the submitted phone number and email.

Patient and applicant’s Aadhar card , All doctor’s diagnostics reports , All investigative lab reports and scans , Estimated expenses , A letter of reference may be requested.

Financial Medical support is given on a case-to-case/ need basis. We offer patient support through a doctor network in the form of consultation and referrals which plays a crucial role in overall medical management.

Under extreme circumstances, post-due diligence small loans may be considered on a deferred repayment basis.


FAMILY WELFARE



To apply for Family Welfare support - please navigate to the ‘Get Involved’ section at the top of our website and proceed to select the ‘Welfare Support Form’ and fill in the candidate details.

On a case-to-case basis, you can expect to hear back from our team within one week of applying and be assigned an appointment accordingly.

To apply, please submit a copy of your government-issued identification (such as Aadhar Card) and provide a brief description of the assistance required in the designated space on the application form. Depending on your case, we may require additional documentation.
